I’d add Schindler’s List to your all-overrated list. As J. Hoberman wrote in The Village Voice, it’s a feel-good movie about the ultimate feel-bad experience. Watch Marcel Ophuls’ Hôtel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbie, a far better movie, and you’ll gain an understanding of former Nazis who escaped to South America, as Schindler did, operated.
Don’t confuse the confusing plastic bag speech for the moral of the film
