In Egypt, a blow to theocracy, not democracy

Enough with the hand-wringing — the world’s largest Arab country just gave the finger to its authoritarian, Islamist regime.

I fail to see the downside.

  1. I am with you, but something will move into the vacuum, and it, too, may not be pretty. We were better off with Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, and Mubarak.
    I would like to see something similar in Turkey, but I am afraid it is too late. A change of scenery in Turkey would leave Iran with one less enabler.
