While it’s convenient for the left to ostracize a region they view as foreign, racism is not the sole provence of the South. Sure, it’s more pronounced in places like Meridian, Mississippi than Atlanta, but I heard my share of racist jokes in L.A. (People make certain assumptions when they hear a Southern accent. I was always happy to disappoint them.)
Long story short: Racism lives — North, South, East and West. It’s not the problem that it used to be, but cancers never completely disappear.
