The winner of 2010’s worst use of moral equivalence now asserts that it’s wrong for Americans to lecture the Arab world on gender, “as if somehow we treat women better in this country.” Is that up for debate?
Fortunately, Bill Maher called Tavis Smiley out on his absurd relativism: “When you tolerate intolerance, you’re not really being a liberal.” Amen.
When Tavis was accusing Maher of demonizing Muslims why does no one point out he promotes and praises the views of Louis Farrakhan who calls Judiasm a “gutter religion”, calls Jews “wicked”, praised Hitler and said he was proud to be compared to him, and wrote a book called “Jews and their Ways”. Why hasn’t Tavis been asked about this? Why does he always come to the defense of Muslims over ANY slight, yet never takes his black cronies to task for far worse scapegoating and demonizing of Jews? What a hypocrite x10000000!
