Is Robin Roberts auditioning for Roger Ailes?

One might assume so after watching the “Good Morning America” co-host lob one softball after another at reality show star Sarah Palin.

As an aside, have you noticed how Palin always mangles the names of her critics? I guess that passes for clever in her mind.

Speaking of the onetime interim governor, it seems she’s pissed off the neocons after ridiculing columnist Charles Krauthammer the other night on FNC.

Asked by O’Reilly what she thought of Krauthammer’s observation that hanging out with Kate Gosselin wasn’t exactly presidential, Palin was her usual defensive self.

Commentary, written by and for neocons, sharpened the knives:

Her response was vintage Palin, combining a sort of schoolyard banter with bristling resentment. “Oooh. Sorry that I’m not so hoity-toity,” was the best she could come up with as a retort while gesturing that she was not someone who had to put her finger in the air to determine what to think, as if the intellectual yet down-to-earth conservative sage Krauthammer was some liberal media consultant. Just as disturbing as the obnoxiousness of her response was the vague thought that perhaps she’s not quite sure who exactly Krauthammer is.

She probably thinks he was a character on “Hogan’s Heroes.”

  1. Just add Nancy Grace to the Kate Gosslin and Sarah Palin mix and you would have the greatest concentration of harpying bitchness that the world has ever seen.

  2. I wondered who watches Palin.

  3. The fact that she is considered Presidential material speaks volumes for today’s society. Of course, up to the 2008 election she had more executive experience than the current President.

My great hope is America will come to grips with idiocy and for the sake of our future elect a serious, previously successful and experienced person for President – I’m thinking Mitch! But I bet it comes down to Romney and Palin – just damn. I like Romney, but then there is MassCare and he is a know switcher on key positions.

  4. Sarah Palin would make a good “Last Secretary of Energy”, the secretary that shut the department down and turned out the lights as she left.
