UPDATE: Handel has conceded
There was a time when Nathan Deal was a reasonable, conservative Democrat. He’s devolved into a scandal-tinged gay baiter (and birther) who’d probably make us yearn for Sonny. And that’s bad.
Let’s hope Republicans shot only themselves in the foot last night, not the whole state. Meanwhile, prepare to see Deal portray Roy Barnes as a terrorist pedophile with questionable bloodlines.
