Texas’ governor, playing to the Palin crowd, suggests the Lone Star state might have to secede from the union.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry fired up an anti-tax “tea party” Wednesday with his stance against the federal government and for states’ rights as some in his U.S. flag-waving audience shouted, “Secede!”

As for Texas … don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

How much is tonight’s “anti-tax” tea party costing Atlanta taxpayers in terms of security, street closings, Capitol cops and Atlanta police overtime, etc., etc? Just wondering…
