Liberalism has destroyed a once great city and is hell bent on destroying the state. The big 3 will probably become the big one. Companies continue to flee this state and the state was in recession when America was booming earlier this decade.
GMAC is the next to leave town and hopefully will come to Atlanta.
Sad, truly sad.
I hope Detroit can serve as an example of what cities should not do.
“Liberalism has destroyed a once great city.” LOL Gee, I really don’t think that Henry Ford et al were known to be liberals … nor the executives like Roger Smith that sapped the companies of millions for themselves and shipped U.S. jobs to Mexico… too funny.
But NOT as FUNNY as your “BOOMING EARLIER THIS DECADE”. American was not REALLY booming, don’t you get it? Avarice overextended everyone from the elite down to the poor fools getting mortgages and money for nothing. The stock market was inflated with phony investments like derivatives and “credit default swaps” (WTF?). It was an economy built on hot air.
Liberalism did not destroy Detroit — but Republicanism came close to destroying the United States. Thank goodness we have a smart, competent leader now after eight years of malfeasance, corruption and pure evil in Bushco.’s reign of terror.
