Blowhards and lightweights — that’s about all that’s left of the conservative movement. Notice the lack of substance in Ann Coulter’s love letter to that Palin woman:
Sarah Palin wins HUMAN EVENTS’ prestigious “Conservative of the Year” Award for 2008 for her genius at annoying all the right people. The last woman to get liberals this hot under the collar would have been … let’s see now … oh, yeah: Me!
So that’s conservatism, version 2.9: Plenty of pissy vinegar, few new ideas.

Sarah Palin is no light weight – Joe Biden is a light weight. If it were not for Sarah McCain would’ve lost in a landslide.
Why is Barack relaxing in Hawaii when America is in crisis – freezing temperatures, water main breaks in DC, economy on the verge of collapse and all Barack can do is play in Hawaii?
We are asked to lower our expectations for the incoming administration – why?
Dude,
It’s Christmas. He’s not the president yet, and he’s done a bunch of stuff already. Go back to lighting candles around your photo of the governor of that state you can see from Russia. Wink.
Now I know why Obama is in Hawaii – to release his Blago connections on Christmas Eve – the man is a politician. He came up through the southside of Chicago where the I stands for Integrity. Obama is clean – he said it I believe it.
I will be interested to see how he manages Hillary.

She did more last year than any other conservative politician.
McCain, was the type of candidate that Powell wanted and he lost big time.
What exactly did she do (except scare off moderates and independents) and what exactly does she stand for (besides her own ambition)? If a female George W. is the future of the GOP, then you got her.
She is smarter than Bush. I don’t want her to be President – I think Bobby Jindhal is the next American President and she is going to be VP. Count on it.
Geez, I almost feel the need to defend Bush on that charge. If Jindal’s as smart as he’s reputed to be, he’ll avoid Palin at all costs. I would hope he would pick someone actually capable of assuming the presidency.
If not for Palin, McCain would’ve probably finished closer to Obama. She cost him scores of moderates and independents — even some Republicans.
But hey, if you want to lose in a landslide, go for it.
Hate to say you are wrong on Christmas eve, but Palin made it interesting for McCain. If he selected Rommney or Pawltney he carries maybe 8 states.
I don’t get the hate for Palin – she wasn’t necessarily polished, but she actually has taken on the bigs in her party and won. She has actually negotiated big deals bi-lateral deals successfully and had an 80% plus approval rating in Alaska.
She is better than you and others give her credit. She did terrible in the Couric interview, but she didn’t ask a cripple to stand up, say the country is in deep shit if Barack wins – “6-months – mark my words” and also didn’t hang out with racists, domestic terrorists and convicted felons.
What states did Palin help McCain carry? I’m certain there’s no polling to indicate your thesis, and her backstory is a bit exaggerated. Of course, if you’re assuming Obama’s a crook because he hails from Chicago, what does that make Palin? Hell, Alaska is like a colder Chicago, and more corrupt.
Guilt by association?
Barack’s friends – the racist Wright, the domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and convicted felon Rezko.
I am actually glad he beat McCain and Palin – hopefully he will have a successful 4 years. The republicans need to reorganize.
I hope that BO can keep Nancy, Harry and Hillary in line.
