Bush = Batman? A novelist makes the case — and apparently he’s serious.
There seems to me no question that the Batman film “The Dark Knight,” currently breaking every box office record in history, is at some level a paean of praise to the fortitude and moral courage that has been shown by George W. Bush in this time of terror and war. Like W, Batman is vilified and despised for confronting terrorists in the only terms they understand. Like W, Batman sometimes has to push the boundaries of civil rights to deal with an emergency, certain that he will re-establish those boundaries when the emergency is past.
And like W, Batman understands that there is no moral equivalence between a free society — in which people sometimes make the wrong choices — and a criminal sect bent on destruction. The former must be cherished even in its moments of folly; the latter must be hounded to the gates of Hell.
WOW!

I thought Bush was more like The Joker character. And the movie is not that great either.
Bush has done many things I disagree with and is partly at fault for the Democrats recent success. He didn’t know how to use a veto pen and has spent billions of dollars on many things way beyond the wars that has significantly increased our national debt and weakened the dollar.
However, during his time, there has not been an attack on the US and that says plenty to me. I would say he was once like Batman, but no more. Now I would call him Nancy.
Iran will get their nuke and Iran will use their nuke. Iran has killed American troops through their proxies and is still trying to kill American troops. Meanwhile we just try talking to them and carrots.
If Bush were really Batman we would arrest AmiJihad (intentional misspelling of the Iranian leader) on his next visit to the UN. That son of bitch has American blood all over his hands. More than Saddam Hussein ever had.
And like Batman, W has a secret cave under the mansion, filled with all sorts of super-tech. We can’t forget about that part.
