I’m not saying every immigration hawk is a bigot — a majority are not. But the most vocal, such as Pat Buchanan and U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Col.), routinely flirt with racism:
”Look at what has happened to Miami,” the WorldNetDaily quotes Tancredo as in an interview. “It has become a Third World country. You just pick it up and take it and move it someplace. You would never know you’re in the United States of America. You would certainly say you’re in a Third World country.”
Interesting that he picks on Miami, where most residents are legal immigrants. Brown-skinned, but legal.
